First Part of my study on Pain :
Where did pain come from:
We can find the answer to that from Genesis chapter 3. Because of Adam and Eve’s disobedience sin came into the world. Things changed for them after their disobedience. Look what God told Eve in ver. 16. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children….
Who is the source of pain:
Now thinking on this kind of tripped me up. We know pain came into the world because of Adam and Eve’s disobediences. They listened to the serpent (which is satan) . Now if you just thought of this then you would say satan is the cause of pain. But God created everything and everyone. So actually God created pain. I believe He allowed satan to bring that pain into our lives. For a number of reason. I detest when you hear someone say well you have pain because of some unconfessed sin in your life. That could be true but I believe there are other reasons also for pain in our lives.
How many have pain:
Romans 8:22 – For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
At one time or another we have all experienced pain. Some for a short time and some for a length of time.
When will pain end:
When we get to heaven!
Revelation21:4 – And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
